 Terrorism requires decisive response and terrorists should get their deserving punishment, including the purveyors of state terrorism who cowardly killed Iran’s icon of anti-terrorism, Qassem Soleimani, a brilliant general on the battlefield and a deft diplomat during peace parleys – rolled into one.

The recent scattered incidents of riots that thugs, traitors, and terrorists, triggered in a few localities of Tehran and parts of some other cities on the orders of their devilish masters in the US and certain West European capitals, would not have taken place if justice had not been delayed for the dastardly murderers of Soleimani and Iraq’s hammer of the takfiris, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.

Anyway, it is still not late to track down and bring to book the super terrorists in suits and diplomatic disguise who have been emboldened to commit more acts of terrorism against the people of Iran by supplying arms to their minions to indulge in arson, looting, killing of policemen and passersby (including children), attacks on mosques, sacrilege of shrines, blasphemous slogans, and then call all these crimes against humanity ‘peaceful protests and a revolution in the offing.’

This is indeed the height of hypocrisy that will definitely not go unpunished.

Thanks to the unflinching support of the multimillion-strong masses for the government and its policies at home and abroad, the hypocrites, including those hiding abroad, are now facing the dire consequences of their failed plot to disturb the peace and order of the Islamic Republic or to try to disintegrate it.

An indication in this regard was Monday’s precisely perfect targeting of terrorist bases in the Kurdistan autonomous region of neighbouring Iraq, where the US and the illegal Zionist entity groom criminals for sabotage and sedition in Iran.

This has been done after due warning and briefing the brotherly government in Baghdad, of the inability or the reluctance of its Kurdistan autonomous region, to expel all those involved in the recent riots in Iran, along with tight control of the common borders with the Islamic Republic.

The peace-loving Iranian people who rallied behind the security personnel to identify, expose, and apprehend most of the recent rioters, have given mandate to the related officials to weed out terrorists and traitors across the borders (in any direction – whether west, north, east and south or on another continent), no matter if the terrorist-backers in the West hold farcical meetings to announce more and more of those illegal sanctions that have no effect on the country, its defenders, their assets, and above all their resolve against all types of mercenaries.

The Islamic Republic which recently announced its willingness to share its scientific and technological achievements, including in the defence field, with fraternal and friendly countries, regards the security of Iraq as its own security.

In other words, Tehran is ready to cooperate with Baghdad as well as with Erbil (of the autonomous Kurdish region) to rid the region of the illegal presence of terrorists, traitors, and takfiris.

A parting word for the daydreamers of foreign-engineered ‘colour’ coups through acts of treason and terrorism: Your supply of weapons for your riotous mercenaries whom you mischievously call ‘peaceful protestors who have started a revolution’ will not the least dent the determination of the Islamic Republic to turn them into frightening nightmares.

Iran is greatly indebted to its dedicated youthful population and the scores of millions of its dignified Hijab-clad women for its continued success in all fields.
